9th Cavalry (92nd Regiment), First State Standard. Composed of men from Perry, Lehigh, Dauphin, Luzerne, Susquehanna, Lancaster, Cumberland, Mifflin, Huntingdon, and Blair counties, the 9th Cavalry was organized October-November 1861. They received their first state standard on November 25, 1861. The flag was retired on July 15, 1864 when the regiment received a replacement. They were mustered out of service in July 1865.
